Bobbie's Story
Life
Graduated from NMSU 1975.
Was married in 1976 to Gerald Rockovitz. Moved to Albuquerque, NM. 2 children: Karen born 1982 and Sarah born 1984. Divorced in 1993.
Received teaching certificate from UNM 1994. Began teaching in Albuquerque.
Very happily married in 1995 to Brad Montana. Moved to Springfield, Virginia and taught there, also.
Moved back to NM--Las Cruces in 2002. Have been teaching now for 14 years. I will be teaching half-time beginning with the 2009-2010 school year.
Have 2 dogs--rescued from the pound-a 10 year old Lab X named Abby and a 6 year old Australian Shepherd X named Mia. Abby died at age 12 and a year ago we rescued a 4 year old miniature wire-haired dachshund named Gertie from a puppy mill.

ist to attend nursing school at TVI and Sarah is attending UNM and they share an apartment in Albuquerque. Karen was married in February 2007 to Aaron Otzenberger. They live in Albuquerque. Karen will graduate from nursing school in August 2009. Sarah graduated from UNM in May 2009 with a BS in Psychology. She is a single mom of my first grandchild--Jacob, born March 6, 2009.
Brad will be deploying to Iraq in July for 3 months as a DOD civilian. Brad returned from Iraq safely and built an addition to our house called the Man Room!
I still play my cello, love to take photographs, and do scrapbooking. I will photograph my first wedding professionally this summer. Brad and I love to travel. I love the Lord, Jesus Christ, and know that life is good.
