Bobbie's Story
Life
I have two kids; Robert is 25, and Brad is 21. I was married to Stuart for 28 years. We divorced in 2007 and I moved to California where I enjoy a healthy outdoor lifestyle. I ran a marathon 9 years ago, and jumped out of an airplane while visiting my son, Robert in Hawaii a few years ago. I'm in a new relationship with a great guy, Franz.
Career
Yeah, the boring stuff. I went back to school late in life to get a degree in Biological Engineering and an MBA. It's served me well as I'm not starving or cold. I'm working in the Biopharmaceutical Industry ...Expand for more
in the SF Bay Area. Could I have picked a more expensive place to live? I don't think so! But I love it.
The fun stuff
I've always loved horses and now I enjoy taking riding lessons and trail riding. Running continues to be a passion and a stress reliever -- recently into 5K and 10K fun races. Maybe a few half marathons on the horizon. Oh yeah, I tried snowboarding last winter -- it was worth a try, but I'll stick to skiis since I maybe go once a year.
Military
My oldest son is in the Army, stationed in Hawaii. That's as close as I've gotten to military life.
