Bobbie's Story
Life
Retired from nursing in 2001. Now live in Florida with husband, David. We travel 5-6 months out of the year in our Rv volunteering our services at state parks and for such groups as Habitat for Humanity. Have met Jimmy Carter while attending his Sunday school class in Plains, Ga. Have 3 children, 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grand-daughter. ------
As of 2008, I now have 3 great-grandchildren. I spend a moderate amount of time free-lance writing for magazines and newsletters, also newspapers;
on nature, tourism, and natural habitats of an area. I also do photography along with this. There is an article I wrote on seahorses under my name on the internet, So much for bragging on myself! Would like to hear from others and how they're spending their senior years.
I always wanted to be a writer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.

If I won $100 million, I'd give 50% of it to my family, then spend the rest on church, security and travel..
Right where I am.
My current age is 62. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be decrepit. I was so completely wrong.

My best friend would tell you I'm quiet, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as anti-social.
I dress as I did in my 30's. Still like my Mickey Mouse tee shirts.
I share my home with David, which I find great company.
Wait longer to marry.
In 10 years, I hope to be just as I am. I'm going to get there by exercise, prayer, and good living..
I am an ordained minister & I have 3 great-grandchildren.
Not as immature as someone mentioned, nor a flirt. I had a steady boyfriend all through high school which I married. Immature? Well, I didn't think being grown up was getting pregnant & married in my senior year as so many of my classmates did. Did you know our class was known as the baby class? I found out a few years later.
