Bobby's Story
Haven't update this in a while. We live in North Carolina now and have for four years. Our son and daughter both followed us here with our three grandchildren...one more on the way. Amazingly, our oldest grandchild started high school this year. It has been a rough two years for me. Had a sore throat and my wife goated me in to going to the doctor...THANK GOD! My sore throat turned out to be throat cancer (stage 4)and it got into my lympth nodes. The doctor said I might make a year...just shows what doctors know...it's been almost two years now and my onco...Expand for more
logyst just told me that I don't have to come see her anymore. Yeah!!!! My latest PET SCAN was clean as a whisle. I'm now glad to say I'm a Cancer Survivor!!! I could not have made it without my family. Thinking your going to die...sure makes you really appreciate life, family and friends. Mom & Dad still doing well in Louisiana. I'm still working in Air Traffic Control even though the radiation messed up my voice a little...I still love to grab the mic and ham it up on the Karioki Night. Life has been good to me and I thank God each and every night....Bobby
