Hi Everyone, I really didn't get to know that many people in high school since I had a 2nd shift job at Nichol's Hosiery Mill which has since been torn down. I did enjoy the friends that I made while in high school. After graduation, I attended Presbyterian College in South Carolina, where I met the love of my life and wife of 46 years. After graduating from Presbyterian College, I was commissioned into the Field Artillery Branch of the Army and served 20 years, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. Overseas countries in include Germany 2 tours for a total of six years, Korea for 1 year, Panama and Honduras for 1 year. Kaye and I have two sons. Jon, the youngest, works in the video game industry and works remotely from home. Jon just took a new job in Miami but gets to stay in Texas. James, our oldest, is currently in Dubai. James spent 10 years in the Air Force and left to be an Air Force civilian contractor. After retiring from the Army, I taught school for 13 years. I retired for good in March 2011 a month before my 57th birthday. My joint pain from injuries in service just made it too difficult to stand up all day and teach.
