Bonnie's Story
This past year has handed me some pretty challenging experiences. November 30, 2021 I lost the love of my life. We were married for 40 years. We met when I was 15 and he was 17. We went to different high schools but that didn’t matter. We eloped to Las Vegas In 1982. He was in the Air Force for 22.5 years. We traveled the world together. We had three beautiful daughters and 3 beautiful grandchildren, the newest addition being only 3 months old when his papa passed away. They met only a handful of times before he got sick. nd gone over the years, it’s only been this past year that I know who my true friends are. It’s been painful but a blessing at the same time. I’ve made it through this past year without my Love, by the grace of God. I guess my message to you is treasure every second you have with your loved ones, life has this nasty habit of changing in a split second. Say kind words, look at each other with love, touch each other tenderly, hold hands, kiss each other softly, but most of all, say “I love you” and say it often. One last thing, dance together.
