Bonnie's Story
Find me on Facebook , My senior class photo 1969 did not make it into the year book. there are current photos also. I am back in MC after studyihng for my nursing degree in Des Moines, IA, and working in Mesa/Tempe AZ, married what I thought was a wonderful man and moved to Atlanta GA. After too many years with him, I moved back to MC and worked at Franklin Clinic with Dr. Chawla for almost 5 years. I was engaged to David Sadenwater, put he died before we could get married.
My daughter was in the United States Marines, and gave me a beautiful granddaughter while she was busy in the Corps; and needed my help with the new baby, Kaitlyn.
So, I packed my things and moved to the east coast, near Camp LeJeune. She, I and little Kaitlyn lived off base, and Kaitlyn's daddy, also a Marine, who has now been in 21 years is a wonderful daddy and a great man. They never married ...Expand for more
because my daughter Stephanie felt she was too young to be married. They have successfully co-parented Kaitlyn, and since my daughter is nolonger in the Corps and finished college and received her degree in forensic sience, I felt it was my time to come back home to MC.
I contacted an old love, Frank Gross, class of "66. We have been friends withfor 42 years. We are now in-love and living the good life. Makes me feel like a teenager again. I am so happy to be back and would love to get in-touch with some former school mates. Hugs
I love the ocean,! I had a favorite spot that few people knew about, and I would walk miles picking up special trinkets from the seal. I have to say, lake Michigan is really different than what I had become accustomed to, but it's still sand and water, except I woun't swim in Lake Michigan. I remember what it was, and have seen how it is.
