Bonnie's Story
I am currently residing in Bemidji, MN. We moved back about two years ago. I really missed having four seasons, and I wanted to have my grandson, Xander, live with me. I am teaching on the Red Lake Indian Reservation several times per week. I really got tired of being at home, and I enjoy working with the students again. At 72, it is a whole new perspective than when you are teaching from a younger age. I previously lived in MN for almost 40 years. I have two daughters and three grandsons as well as three grandchildren and four great grandchildren all of which, are dear to my heart..
I have two pet birds; one named Cody the other Pepper. They are spoiled rotten. I enjoy them a lot. They are very
intelligent birds and are great company.
I graduated from Bemidji State University with a seconday science teaching license. I taught junior high school in Minneapolis, MN and then...Expand for more
finished my teaching career teaching middle school science in Bemidji, MN. Five years before I retired I went through the Gemologicsl Institute of America to become certified as a jewelry specialist. My main interest is in diamonds/diamond grading and gemstones as a secondary specialty. I have worked parttime in several jewelry stores, including J.C. Penneys for 17 years while I was teaching school.
I read a lot, do gardening--especially flowers/landscaping. I still love to dance and listen to music. I love to travel and meeting and spending time with friends.
A lot of years have passed since high school and I would very much like to re-connect with former classmates, or meet new people.
Life has been good to me and my family and I thank God for the many blessings that I have had. It would be great to hear from anyone who remembers me, or wants to correspond as a new friend.
