Bonnie's Story
Since graduating high school I was married to Frederick Frazier and blessed with my 50 year old son, Marlon. He is married and I have 6 grandchildren ages:(28m), 26(m), 22(f), 16(f), 12(f) and 8(m). Unlike most classmates, I became a non-traditional aged student and obtained my Master in Social Work in 2006 followed by clinical licensure. I was called to the ministry of serving God through helping suffering alcoholics and drug addicts following my personal deliverance from a heroin addiction in 1985. I have a combined nearly 30-year employment history in the Domestic Violence, Substance Abuse Treatment and Social Work Fields. I have been employed with Children's Mercy Hospital's Social Work Dept for nearly 20 years. I've held professional credentialing as an advanced level Certified Substance Abuse Counselor since 1993; more recently, LCSW and LMSW and Independent Contractor with Kansas Children's Service League. Under the inspiration of my Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, I joined True Light of Jesus Christ Ministries December, 2010 in Grandview, MO. By the grace of God, Edward "...Expand for more
Hunky" Dryden and I celebrated our 1-year anniversary on March 28, 2016. We gratefully share 5 children and 10 grands in our blended families.
As most of you know God called my husband, my Baby, my Friend and confidant to rest in him away from this earthly home on January 5, 2019. With God’s blessed assurance, my husband’s encouragement before he went to his heavenly home and the love and support of family, friends, and colleagues, I am gratefully and gracefully approaching retirement from full-time employment within the next six months! Hallelujah!! I welcome the transition into the next phase of my life with which God is blessing me!!!!!! I am most appreciative for my Pastor Harold and First Lady Molden and church family at Calvary Chapel COGIC in KCMO
God is good all the time and all the time, God is good! Amid the pandemic. I was blessed to retire from Children’s Mercy Hospital’s Social Work Department, on April 24, 2020! I did so on my faith in the Word of God as He reminds
me daily that He will never leave me regardless of this world’s crisis. He has the whole world in His hands!!
