After graduating and getting married, I worked for B of A until my daughter was born in July of 1970. My son was born the following year. I remained a stay at home Mom until 1975. Ray, my husband worked as a machinist while struggling with the effects of Viet Naim. In 1975 I went to work as a bookkeeper for St. Norbert's Catholic Church in Orange. Guess those business courses did me some good. After a time, Ray went back on Active Duty in the Marine Corp Reserve until 1990. ty. In 1998, I left St. Norbert Church after 22 years and moved to Big Bear City. I loved living in the Mountains, but after 6 years, it became too much for Ray, so we moved to Riverside where my brother and sister live. I am currently employed as a controller for a Geotechnical Engineer Firm, and looking forward to the day I can retire.
Update - Sept. 5, 2013. Semi- retired - work from home or where ever I happen to be. Loving the freedom of not being tied down to an office. Ray and I travel in our Motorhome as often as we can. My grandson is now 16 and driving. Can't believe how fast they grow up! We just celebrated our Wedding Anniversary - 44 years!
Ray and I enjoy camping with our Motorhome and traveling the states when time permits. We have two yorkie dogs - Micky & Maggie, who are spoiled rotten. I enjoy surfing the internet and playing farmville on Facebook!
Update - February 20, 2014. We lost are little Maggie today. She was 15 1/2 years old. We miss her dearly. Micky is lost without her.
