Life
Married to the same man for 40 years now = True Survival! Scott is an Architect and a Plans Examiner in San Diego. We have three daughters: our oldest is a Cal Poly graduate and an architect like her Dad and soon to be married; our next daughter works in the medical industry serving our PTSD veterans and is married to a computer IT professional. They have given us a granddaughter and twin grandsons. Our youngest is a vocal musician with two degrees from Chapman University - in Music Education and Vocal Performance. About myself - I hold a Master's Degree from SDSU in History with an emphasis in Ancient Near Eastern History. nta Barbara in History and was a recipient of the Jacob K. Javits Graduate Fellowship from the US Dept. of Education. My dissertation was on the rescue of refugee Jews in the Philippines during WWII. I am a history lecturer at San Diego State University and teach at local Community Colleges as well. I am also the Associate Producer and Holocaust Scholar of "An Open Door: Holocaust Haven in the Philippines" a documentary on the rescue of Jews in the Philippines, recipient of several film awards, including: Best Film in Science and Education, Milan, Italy; Best Feature Documentary, London, England; Best Documentary, St. Petersburg, Russia; Silver Telly Award (highest) in History. Its been an honor and a joy working on this story for the last 14 years. Book soon to be published and a screenplay in the works.
