ucation and with a very talented team created the largest Aerospace Education program in the country. I have been in Rotary since 1991 and went on a trip to Ethiopia with my husband and 65 otehr Rotarians in Seattle. We did Polio immunization for hundres of kids. A very rich and rewarding experience. So when we got back the following year I turned 50. For my 50th B Day goals I listed to get a new job that gave money away....something more Rotary like...service oriented. I ended up applying for a position I had seen about a year earlier and applied as the Executive Director for a small non profit in Seattle called Saul and Dayee G. Haas Foundation. We serve over 800 secondary schools in Washington State helping students with immediate needs. I feel so fortuante to have been selected by hte board to lead this non profit. It has been a blast. I am in my second year in the position, have assembled a great team of volunteers and have a dedicated board and small staff. I hope to be able to connect with folks from "THE" YMCA club we had in High School, folks from my volleyball team, and others.
