Bonnie's Story
I left Richmond and haven't been back since although I loved it there, life took me other places. I moved to Georgia and then to Florida and have been a Floridian ever since. I have worked in secretarial and management most of my life. I am retired now. I lost my husband in 1996 suddenly and have remained a widow, seems to suit me somehow. I have two daughters, who are married. I have two grandsons and one granddaughter living and one we lost to SIDS in 1992. I have one great grandson and a grandson and granddaughter that so...Expand for more
rt of adopted from one of my son-in-laws family. Some of you may have known my brothers, Jimmy died in 2003 and Horace died in 2008 (both way younger than me). Mother passed away on Christmas Eve of 2009. I am now the oldest in the family around. That seems so odd to me. I had cancer and have been 4 1/2 years cancer free. Yea!!!! Most of my years in Florida I lived in Jacksonville, Florida but now I'm in a little town. That has been a big thing to get used to, although nice.
