Bonnie's Story
Life
Within weeks of marrying my husband, whom I met on the job, we relocated to the Washington, D.C. area - Northern Virginia to be exact.
Although we waited 7 years to have our first and only child, the birth of our daughter was a very big surprise to my in-laws. Carrie was born on her paternal grandfather's 64th birthday and was the first Ingalls girl in the family in over 100 years.
Carrie is now 29 and attending the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. She is a double major - Political Science and International Affairs. In Spring 2005 she became a member of Pi Sigma Alpha - the political science honor society. This keeps...Expand for more
her busy as does her horse - Faith, working with her dressage trainer, and her boyfriend, Tim.
Our second horse, Sierra, is living about 30 miles from Bruce and I and is for sale. We also have two cats (Carrie's actually) and an Australian Cattle Dog - named Red Bijoux. Red is a medical challenge for us as she has secondary glaucoma which is caused by loose lens in her eyes.
I am about 3 years from retirement and am more than ready. Bruce retired in February 2005. In addition to the home we own in Virginia, we own a condo in Myrtle Beach where we will spend 9 of 12 months enjoying retirement.
I look forward to hearing from one and all.
