Bonnie's Story
Life
We live in Palm Bay, Florida -- on the east coast of Florida, south of Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach -- about an hour SE of Orlando. It's great here! We really don't mind the heat and love having a swimming pool behind our house and banana, citrus, and papaya trees in our yard. My husband, Erik, is also from Anchorage. We actually met in Chemistry class at Anchorage Community College. We moved to Florida to attend Florida Institute of Technology in 1987 and got married in 1989. ructional Systems Design. Erik got a BS in Biology with a minor in Engineering and an MS in Environmental Engineering. I work as a consultant for Internet-based companies located in Silicon Valley; I travel a bit, but work primarily from my home office. Erik works as an Environmental Engineer, specializing in ground water remediation and storm water systems design. We have two children, Noah (almost 2-1/2 yrs) and Anders (8mths).
