Bonnie's Story
Life
Well, my how time flies and the road turns.
After leaving good old AHS, I attended the University of Houston and majored in History and Language Arts Education. For some darn reason I felt that teaching was the only career option I had. Boy, knowing what I know now, I don't know if I would have taken the same road .
Anyway, I taught junior and senior high school history and English for 12 years before I found out something very important. I liked teaching but I hated kids -- teens especially.
Course by that time Don Evans and I had married and produced Christine and Don Jr. So I sorta made a jump shift career move and became a "professional trainer" and spend 30 years providing training for various companies in...Expand for more
various skill areas in the Houston area -- Schlumberger, Coastal, Tenneco and finally United Space Alliance (USA) at NASA. Boy would Mr Baker be surprised that I would be teaching engineers how to use computer to develop space systems for the American Space program.
Don and I have been married for 44 years. I retired from USA this January and Don will retire also from USA in June of 2008. We have been living in Dickinson for 30 years but we just bought a new home on Lake Conroe in Willis. THe house has a lake view and I am anxious to get resettled so I can sit on my porch and watch the water..... Gulf Coast gal has to look at water you know.
Well, that in a nutshell is my life. Let me know what is going on in yours.
