Bonnie's Story
I was married for over 18 years and had one boy. I divorced and started a complete new life. At the age of 50 I graduated from NSU with a degree in Special Education. I moved to Oklahoma City and managed the Emotional Disturbed program at one of Mid-Del elementary schools for 6 years. I then moved to a general education first grade classroom and taught for one year. Finally I finished my teaching career by teaching mild-moderate disabilities, concentrating on 3rd and 4th grade for the last 3 years. ness. I operate out of my home and I'm doing pretty good for a new business. I like working for myself and setting my own hours. It certainly is keeping my busy!
I am finding that I am not a city girl. I miss living in the country. I hope to sell my home and move back around the Muskogee, Tahlequah area within the next few years. Until then I am making the best of living in the city close to my oldest sister, Or I may move out of state to be closer to my son . . . life is always full of surprises.
I have several hobbies and enjoy spending time outside when I can.
