Bonnie's Story
Many decades ago I dropped the nick name and began using my legal. I got a lot of flak for using an alias when I worked at Beoing in the late 60's.
I married in 1966 and divorced in 70 with a daughter to show for it. I remarried in 71. We had a blended family of 6 and we had two more children. After 37 years we have eight grown children, 16 grand, and 8 great grand children. I am most proud of this part of my life....
My husband is an Artist, his work is shown and sold in galleries all over the country. I'm also most proud of him.
After the children had left the nest I went back to school, majored in food science and minored in education. I have worked all my life out side the ...Expand for more
home. We now have a home base business and we're enjoying the freedom of retirement, spending time with family, working on the property and home.
My parents are gone and their home was sold after my mothers death in 05. My sister Linda still lives in West Seattle and younger sister Cheryl is in Buckley WA.
We lived in Seattle and on Vashon Island until moving to our Port Orchard home twelve years ago.
I don't go to Georgetown for any reason other than to drive through to see and changes and a few business related stops.
It's been a long time since the humble beginnings of the old neighborhood but finding connetions to the past ground me to appreciate my God blessed life more.
