Bonnie's Story

The following is a quick trip through my life after GHS. I graduated in 1962 from Green Mountain College and after a brief experience in banking, spent the next few years working as a dental assistant. In 1968 I returned to school and finished my B.A. degree at Manhattanville College. My intention at the time was to continue my education and earn a masters degree. While at Manhattanville I met and later married my first husband. We had a beautiful daughter. Unfortunately this marriage did not last and we...Expand for more
were divorced. Eventually I moved to Florida to help care for my mother. I returned to school again and graduated with an R.N degree in nursing. I met and later married my husband, Charlie. We will celebrate our 25th anniversary this December. Charlie has three children. I always wanted four children so we really feel blessed. We have 10 wonderful grandchildren. We live in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee on Douglas Lake. I was a hospice nurse and Charlie and I are both retired.

A wonderful young lady came over today and weeded our extremely overgrown garden beds. She performed a miracle! They were really a mess! Thank you so very much Lauren, you are an incredible young lady. We appreciate you so

Last monster log! Thanks to Glenn & Millie and Phil for all the wonderful help. You all are super neighbors.
Lot of logs split in the last few days!
We made it to the top of Mt Le Conte. It's been a great day.
In loving memory of a truly beautiful person, Carol Wallow Frock.
