Bonnie's Story
Following graduation I obtained an A.A. in nursing at Los Angeles Valley College. I left Southern California in 1968 and worked for 7 1/2 years as a surgical nurse and then obtained a B.S. in Nursing at Cal State Sacramento. lulu, HI. While in Hawaii I earned two masters degrees, one in nursing and one in public health, at the University of Hawaii. I returned to the mainland, living mostly in the Sacramento area with 6 years in Eugene, Oregon. I spent the majority of my career working with children with disabilities and spent the last 10 years in school nursing. I am married and have a 40 year old married daughter.
