Bonnie's Story

Well, after High School, I went to college at Eastern Illinois University and got my degree in Elementary and Special Education. By the time I graduated, my folks had moved back to Michigan, so I followed them back. They weren't going to get rid of me that easily. I got a job teaching at Grass Lake High School near Jackson, Michig...Expand for more
an and met my husband Steve there and had two beautiful daughters. In 1987 we decided that our hearts were really in urban ministry in Detroit. We picked up and moved here to the D and there's been never a dull moment since. Our kids are grown and we have a grandchild on the way and we're all still here loving Detroit and Jesus.
