Bonnie's Story
Life
Does life begin at 65?? I THINK IT DOES!! That's about when I began having a great time enjoying the "golden" years ..... just wish there was a lot of GOLD that came with the years so I could afford to enjoy even more! lol
After graduation I worked for the Pacific Bell in Colton, CA for a few years, married in '66, and moved to NM when husband went into Air Force. Four years at Cannon Air Force base and then returned to So CA with a lovely daughter, born in '69. Had a 2nd daughter, born in '75; and now have 3 grandchildren 2 girls born in 1998 and 2001 and a boy born in 1998. I LOVE being a Grandmother.
We lived in the San Gabriel, Temple City area from 1971 to 1978 and then moved to the beautiful Central Coast of CA. Living in the middle of the "new wine country" and having over 140 wineries nearby and the ocean 30 minutes away is fantastic! T...Expand for more
his is truly a wonderful part of CA to live in!
In addition to all my various jobs I've been active in church, volunteer organizations, kids/grandkids schools, and youth sports. I love travel, my youngest married an Army man and since they move often I'm getting to see much of the country when I visit them and my two beautiful granddaughters!!!
I have also been very active in troop support! I still do what I can to help our military men and women AND their families .... all HEROES in my book!
Currently working at discovering MYSELF again. Who would have thought I'd get the chance to "re-meet" ME?? Yup, life did begin again at 65!! I've also enjoyed getting back in touch with several old friends through classmates and have traveled to visit a few of them. I would love to hear from my old classmates, friends, and neighbors ........ so WRITE ME!!
