Bonnie's Story
I can hardly believe that I have been teaching 35 years and almost 40 away from high school. When I see the names on the list it seems just yesterday we were in unairconditioned classes, cheering on Jeff Ford and company, having great fun, and oh yes learning in between too.
I had to keep a pretty low profile at the last reunion as I was fostering many miniature pinschers which I was lucky enough to leave at a friend's place but also had to tend to. I am down to two fosters and three of my own so when the 40th rolls around I hope to participate a bit more.
When I left Satellite Beach for college I never moved back. I began teaching in Orlando and am still here. I have lived in the same hous for 25 years and am in the process of adding on a small addition to the master bedroom to conne...Expand for more
ct it to the pool area, something that should have been done long ago. Sure do miss the advice of my buider dad. I wonder how many of you live in one of my dad's houses he build?
I still have the desire to move back to real water not just these pond that are called "lakes" over here. They don't have the sound, smell, or corrosive damage I was used to growing up in Brevard.
My next career will be in the doggie world. My plan is natural food, doggie day care/boarding, grooming, and massage. I take my dogs to an acurpuncturist Don't we all have to plan a second career after our first one?
Well, looking back on where I thought I would be and where I am they are worlds apart, hopefully I have helped to make a difference in a child's life somewhere along the way. Keep on keeping on. . .Bonnie
