Bonnie's Story
I've always hated multiple choice tests, so I'm afraid the Q and A annoyed me until I decided to answer the questions in a way that I found entertaining. I'm not really so into zoning out, hunting, and gambling.
These days I'm thinking and writing about systems theory, relational psychotherapy, Eastern religion, American institutional change in the 1960's, educational reform, and fairies.
Mostly fairies. My five year old twin daughters have an insatiable appetite for books about fairies, so we are always reading about fairies, making paper fairy dolls and acting out fairy plays. My 3 year old son tolerates the fairy stories, though he prefers to be a "truck fairy" in plays, with magical powers to summons trucks to come and perform heroic tasks.

topics (except fairies, that I do on my own) and occasionally write something. This spring, we put out a book called Education and the Making of a Democratic People. Sounds captivating, right? Maybe not. But my name is on the spine (one of 3 editors), so that's got to be worth something.
Life is sweet these days. Michael and I spent the last two years building a house in Kirkland. Lots of beaches and parks nearby, and coffee shops I can walk to. The kids are adorable (except when they're not) and I'm into the soccer mom scene. No, make that the theater mom scene. The girls take dance and are going to a pee wee theater camp in two weeks. I haven't introduced them to some of my favorite musicals (like Rent) yet, but they can sing the hell out of Mary Poppins.
Well, there you have it. Forty lurks around the corner. I can't complain, but sometimes I still do.
