Life
My Spouse
After 33 amazing years, my husband passed away at home on March 4, 2014. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in July of the previous year. He was on a break from treatment when I returned home from work and had to call 911. Though not known to me or his doctors at the time, the cancer had spread to his brain. After a week in the hospital I decided to bring him home and enjoy what time we had left together. We thought maybe we had a month or two, but the good Lord above decided to call him home after 2 days. I know he is in a better place but it still is difficult. I consider myself very blessed to have been able to share my life with this man and he could always put a smile on my face, even in the very end.

My Kids
Ryan, my only child, is a free spirited individual who, over the years has brought me tremendous joy sprinkled with a dash of wonder and a pinch of frustration. He currently lives with me and his wife Heather and is a sub contractor with a home improvement company. Late last year my grandson, Liam, came and joined our tribe.
My Job
I spent the past 17+ years managing the only 24 hour vet clinic in Middle Tennessee. We have 7 doctors and almost 50 supporting staff. It kept me on my toes but I enjoyed (almost) every minute.
. I retired in 2016 and now look forward to hobbies which have been put to the way side for so many years, traveling with my sister and enjoying the devil out of life.
