Bonnie's Story
Life
I left Belzoni in September of ÃÂ69 and moved to New York with my sisters, Sheila and Tanya. I studied singing, worked as an actress/singer/secretary, was a guide at Lincoln Center, an extra in the New York City Opera and performed in Leonard Bernstein's "Mass" in Philadelphia and New York. In 1973 I took the est Training, and in 1974 was hired by Werner Erhard, estÃÂs founder, to manage the Enrollment Department in the newly formed est Center in New York City. In 1975 I was transferred to San Francisco where I managed the Enrollment Department for six months, then took a job working directly for Erhard in his Projects Group. The group (three people) handled all his parties, meetings, conferences and special events. In 1976 the president of est asked me to transfer back east to Boston to revive the failing est Center there. I managed enrollment in Boston for six months, and was promoted to Center Manager.

In 1981 my future husband took the est Training, where we met. By 1983 we married, and I became a fulltime academic surgeonÃÂs wife, and ý time stepmother. Steve was then an Associate Professor of Urologic Surgery specializing in minimally invasive treatment for kidney stones at the Harvard Medical School, and I helped rear his three boys, who produced 7 grandchildren who I adore. During our marriage, we traveled the world extensively.
After 25 years of marriage, I divorced Steve in Dec. 2010. I now reside in Florida where I spend most of my time working with different charities and am currently president elect of my Rotary Club.
