Bob & I went together all through high school and we married in 1960. He was in the Navy for 6 1/2 years and we have three sons. He worked for Grumman from 1966 through 1992 when he retired from Grumman. I worked at Mitchel Air Force Base Hospital after graduation as a medical transcriptionist. When our first son was born in 1961 I quit and stayed at home for the next 10 or so years during which time we had two more sons. I went back to work in about 1970, first as a typist for a service doing Social Security Benefits reports, then as a receptionist for a Buick dealership in Hempstead.
