Brad's Story

Went from VHS to SGWU (Honours Biology, 1969) and then out to UBC (Cancer Research Centre) to get an M.Sc. (1971). Left for Europe for almost a year to backpack, ski, etc. Went back to Vancouver (taught Biology) and then to Snowdon Campus/Vanier College CEGEP in Montreal to teach Biology (1974-78). Serendipitously, had an offer to get into business in Edmonton in '78 and was there from 1978-91. Am now in Victoria, B.C. Have been a long-standing Certified Management Consultant and just earned an MBA from Edinburgh, Scotland. Started 2 managem...Expand for more
ent consulting firms, 1 construction/project management company, and own 2 outdoor travel companies. Am a National Outdoor Leadership/NOLS Graduate and have several guiding accreditations. Do a fair amount of custom guiding (kayaking, backpacking, hiking), time permitting. Make skin-on-frame ocean kayaks and carve Greenland paddles. Active hobbies: Backpack, hike, WW kayak, ocean kayak, read, volunteer squash at the Victoria YMCA, competitively woodcarve, travel, etc. You can see I have lived a full life.
