Brad's Story
I blog, so I won't loose my stream of consciousness. My political impressions developed by starting the blog with the first two paragraphs of Common Sense.
Marin Peace and justice Coalition helped developed twitter.com/bradservation as a notice of interest and events and has a link to the blog.
My participation in the local chapter of Health Care For All is due to extreme experiences with my wife's death and my own liver problems.
The way I raised my kids by myself since they were 10 and 12 was a wide spectrum of being suggestive (for patient thought development) rather than authoritarian. My Son is a wrestler at U C Davis and my daughter maintains a ballet training as a H S Senior that she started in elementary school. We all study nutritional balance in different ways. I have taichi training.
I have been a life-long learner of mediation techniques and earned a certificate by Marin County.
The company my wife and I started worked with the design team of Jamba Juice which allowed me to be the last name on the contractors' flow chart by installing menu boards and other image components. I am grateful for my chance to visit more than 400 stores around the country.
I had gone to ten different schools by tenth grade so I'm glad my kids have a stable foundation to relate to my instability. I was an artists on the street when I met their mother and I saw some of you when I sold my work twice a year at The Santa Monica Civic...Expand for more
Auditorium. This freedom as self-employed allowed me to be the domestic engineer and raise my kids as primary care giver.
Marin county has such an active musical scene that has inspired so much harmony to my lifestyle. My talent as a storyteller is being maintained as a member of toastmasters. My home is a portal to the multifaceted gem that is the nature of Northern California.
My position with CMCM.TV feels so supportive of our community. I put City Government meetings, as live-streaming archives, on air as they happen by operating The Sony Anycast which edits 4 cameras (which I also operate by joystick). Marin County has been the innovator of California Exceptionalism on so many levels. When Esther went off to college, I sold the house and moved 'downtown,' three blocks from work, I joined a credit union to stop supporting bank-driven-economy.
Self-education has never slowed-down, I consider my interest in history my 'conservative' side which is well-balanced with 'liberal' science-fiction exposure, thus more of each than most. The creativity here is so liberating to so many. I am so glad to have 'settled' in San Rafael.
UPDATE
Esther, my daughter, has a Arts Administration Degree, working at SF Jazz.
We have our own apartments at Art Works Downtown ~
My son is in Colorado Springs using his Exercise Biology Degree to coach Olympic athletes.
I work three blocks from where I live ~ Community Media Center, Marin
