More about Brad:"OK, I guess I have to admit that I have Attention Deficit Disorder. Adult ADD. But I am a "high functioning" ADD. I have no trouble keeping busy at work, I am just socially inept. I inherited it from my daughter Sarah. She had ADHD way bad, even at age 6 poor thing! When I don't take my meds my social filters don't work too well, and I have a tendency to be rude, crude or lewd (I don't really know what that last one means, but it rhymes so I used it). Darn, I guess I forgot to take my pill at lunch today...
I also take medication for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, upper airway resistance syndrome (reflux), recently diagnosed arthritis in my knees, and a low-dose aspirin every day for heart-health. My wife thinks I could save myself a lot of trouble and not have to take so many medications if I would just lose the aforementioned 25 pounds, and she is right, of course. She is always right. FYI glucosomine and condroitin (for arthritis) are large enough to gag a horse! You should see the size of my daily pill box!

y wife at 10:30 and then I am up in the middle of the night for 2-3 hours before I am tired enough to go back to bed. I can get by on about five hours of sleep, no problem (refer to ADD above). Consequently, Facebook is keeping me challenged and occupied recently. I turn off all of the junk games and gifts and "What type of fruit am I most like?" crap, so if you expect me to read and respond to that trivia think again! Don't be surprised to see me online in the middle of the night (make that according to the Mountain Daylight Time Zone for my friends overseas who are experiencing day time while I am experiening insomnia).
I like to write. I even write poetry, but most of it isn't any good. I have only entered one writing contest in my lifetime, back in 1992. It was a technical paper that I submitted to the RMA (Robert Morris Association) contest for bankers all over the country. I won first place in my chapter ($600), after which they submitted my winning paper on to the national contest and I won first place there as well ($1,000). They flew me to New Orleans to the National Convention of boring people to collect my prize money and I sat at the head table one night for dinner. Over and out. I've never entered any other contests. Yawn.
My father was called to be a Mission President over the Sweden Stockholm Mission so my family moved to Sweden from 1972 through 1975. I was able to attend Brighton High for my senior year and then I served my own mission for the LDS Church in Finland from October 1976 through November 1978. For the record, I loved my 5-out-of-6 years in Scandinavia!".
