Brad's Story
I live in Wedgwood/North Seattle and am married with two kids, Hunter (5/94) and Lauren (11/95). After high school I went off to WSU where I joined the Sigma Chi Fraternity after my freshman year, and had more fun than any one human should have in a 4 year period - and I regret none of it. At WSU, I majored in criminal justice and political science and graduated Phi Beta Kappa (3.88) in 1985 from WSU, and spent the summer cruising Europe with fellow Sammamish grad Jim Kott, before entering Law School at the University of Washington (hey, it's not my fault I could not go to law school at WSU - they did not have one - god, forgive me!), where I graduated in 1988. I joined a 45 lawyer firm, Helsell Fetterman Martin Todd & Hokanson out of law school, and then jumped to Sullivan Golden & Otorowski, where I started representing individuals and families injured by the negligence of others. Thereafter fellow Sammamish grad Jeff Tuttle and I practiced together for 6 years, through 1999. Since 2001, I have been a shareholder in 2-lawyer firm of Carter & Fulton, P.S. with offices in Everett and Seattle. We own our building up in Everett - 37th and Colby if any of you are ever in the area. I emphasize the handling of personal injury cases, mostly auto accidents, wrongful death and other injury claims (d...Expand for more
og bites, insurance bad faith, uninsured motorist claims, etc.) I have edited two large publications for WSAJ - the Auto Deskbook (1999 and 2010 update) and the WSAJ Pleadings and Motions CD Rom Handbook (2006) - both of which are sold to other lawyers state-wide. So, if you are injured by the negligence of someone else, call me; you can easily locate our website under Carter & Fulton, P.S. In my spare time, I love to golf, still play softball on a coed lawyers league team, love a cold Bud/Bud Light (or 12!), love to deer/elk/bird hunt when I can, go to M's games (partial season tickets) and am in a Fantasy Football league - to which I have gotten addicted. I am also very involved in the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), formerly the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA). After holding most Board positions of importance, I was elected President of the 2,600 lawyer-member Association in 2009-2010. I have also previously served on the trial lawyers association Board of Governors since 1996 - one of 48 people across the state who serve. Named a Rising Star or Super Lawyer every year since 1999 by Washington Law & Politics magazine, and thrice among the Top 40 votegetters/personal injury lawyers in the state of Washington. I am enjoying life! Until the next reunion!
