Brad's Story

Life Saw that a few folks checked on my name here. So I thought I'd take a minute to tell a bit about the journey so far. I was a tall skinny long haired Art student. Rode a bicycle to school when it was uncool. Took every Art class offered. Design was and is still a passion for me. I was so shy that I couldn't even talk to a girl I might have been interested in, let alone get a date. Pretty sure that there is at least one that thinks I was a rather creepy nerd. I tried hard to get a scholarship to go to Art School. Didn't happen. Somehow all the scholarships that year went to the girls. But I did hear that my name got put on a plaque in the office somewhere. Never saw it though. My parents divorced in the final months of my senior year. At 18 I started living on my own. Worked my way through college and got a degree in Advertising Design. Lived in Hollywood - opened a design business for a short time - (starved for a while) - learned film and video production - began designing media for events - the projects carried me all over the US - Skillsets: Photographer, Film and Video Director, Special Effects Design, Computer Graphics, 2D and 3D Animation, Video Editor - currently Senior Creative Director - main client: Intel - Traveling the world doing keynote events for the Chairman of the Board, Craig Barrett. (5.5 years now) Have visited Japan, Korea, Russia, Ukraine, China, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, UAE, Paris, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, Columbia, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Chile, I'm now writing this from South Africa. My personal life has been full and rich...Expand for more
. Married someone who has been with me for over 25 years. She is someone that believed enough in me to get through my shyness and made me a better man. Together we have raised five kids. Three Boys and Two Girls. Two are out of the house. One with a degree in Macro Biology from UCLA, One working to be a Contractor. The other three sill at home. One in College. Two in High School. One has a dream of being a fashion designer, One has been teaching autistic kids, One is a wiz at on-line games but has not set his goals. We lived for 20 years in Rowland Heights near Diamond Bar. Just bought a new home in the foothills of the San Bernardino mountains in Yucaipa. I still play a guitar. Have a motorcycle and love to ride through the mountains. Take a digital camera with me on all my travels and work on creating fine art prints from the images that I manage to capture on my trips. taking a day or two of personal time where I can to go shoot. All in all it has been and continues to be an amazing journey. I've not seen anyone from Valencia HS in many years. but to the few who clicked on my name - Hi! hope you are doing well. Update: April 6 2009 - We have grand kids coming on the scene now the 5th one coming in a matter of days. Amazing - where did the time go? If you want to get in touch with me then drop me a note directly. I don't intend to buy a "Gold Membership" and without that these guys don't open the communications channel. Silly. You would think they are making enough money on all the ads. They filter for email addresses being posted so - if you can put this together you can reach me. vhs * at * eyetrix * dot * com...
