Life
Hello to all! It sure is great to see all the names here on this site. Things on this end are going well. I truly hope life has been as good to you all. I'm now back in Tulsa with an Internal Medicine practice on South Tulsa. Drop a line if you're so inclined. Peace to you.
School
A real convoluted journey. OU for a year then back to Tulsa and TjC for awhile..figured out I wanted to do Medicine so back to OU for more undergrad and then med school etc...WahLah!!! Done
College
I loved college and hated it. Way too much of it and it seems like I got "old" going. First nursing school, then a B.S. in zoology and thenO.U's Medical school, interniship and res...Expand for more
idency in Internal Medicine. I obviously had to quit the getting high etc that was the big pastime/vocation during high school. Am finally settling into some kind of life and am really comfortable in my own skin. Would love to hear from any of you old farts!
Workplace
Spent some time working as an RN after high school...then figured out I really wanted to be in medicine so went back to school and worked in alcohol/drug rehab as a counselor for adolescents. After med school=>internship and residency in Internal Medicine. I've worked in Tulsa as an Internist since 1996 and most recently at OMNI Senior Care on Harvard...alot of Geriatrics but also younger adults.
