Brad's Story
Life
Ahhh Life.....I've been married to my beautiful wife Cheryl for 7 years now and have 2 beautiful boys, Justin age 7 and Trevor age 3. I've spent time living in Tampa, NYC, Portland OR, San Francisco, and now the Seattle area (actually in the same city as Classmates HQ). And I'm probably moving back to the SF Bay Area soon because my wife isn't happy with the weather and her lifelong friends are back there. And the housing market has finally eased up in CA.
I own an online marketing services business which allows me to work from home and take care of my children. I am grateful every day for having the opportunity.
I'm still the same guy that jokes, smiles and laughs a lot. I like to keep the serious moments to a minimum and just enjoy life.
Workplace
My first "real" job was in Tampa where I worked my way up into a record store Manager position. I basically hired all of my friends and ran ...Expand for more
the store for a few years before being acquired by a larger corporation. Probably a good time for me to leave because I needed to concentrate more on my college work and less on the music. Needless to say, I have a lot of albums, tapes and CD's sitting around the house.
After moving to the west coast, I began working in a Video Post Production house in Portland as a mail room guy and computer tech. I was also learning high-end Video Post-Production (we were editing Nike and Bowflex commercials), but the geek in me took over.
Moved to San Francisco and worked and Computer Tech / Network Administrator for the next several years.
I held that same position while working in Seattle before my wife and I decided together that I would stay home and start my own business utilizing my technical skills. The business is growing slow and steady and my wife has been able to concentrate on her career after kids.
