Brad's Story
Hello everyone,
Well after having too much fun and spending way too much time in Vice Principle Russ Nodell's office. Things have turned out well. Life has been grand and an adventure with some rough spots thrown in for good measure but hey that's what causes growth.I went into the Service right after graduation. Then got married way too young! Which didn't last, but had a awesome son who I raised as a single parent for a couple of years until I got remarried. In all we have 6 children, major rough spot, we lost our son Aric when he was 28 due to an illness. Today we have seven super grandchildren ages 17 to 6 they are totally awesome. Back to the story, I
went to work at Fort Rich civil service, good job and found out real quick that I was not cut out to have a boss or a job, have since found that a J.O.B. means Just Over Broke, not what I wanted for my life. So I quit and started my own business. I have started and built 5 companies sold them and still have my present company which is now a global enterprise. amily and friends thought that I was crazy and because I didn't go to college I would not amount to much. As it turns out they were wrong! In 1974 I decided I wanted to fly, so I became a bush pilot and guide for a number of years. During most of those years we lived in Chugiak where I was a Capt on the Volunteer Fire Department for 11 years, loved all of it! We have since moved to Washington where we live in Castle Rock on the Cowlitz river. Still love fishing and hunting and have never cut my ties with Alaska, own property in Chugiak and at Eureka across from the lodge where we spend time in the summer. I have been blessed with good health and a wonderful wife, beautiful kids and in my opinion incredible grandchildren. I have much to be grateful for, my greatest joy comes from giving back and helping others reach their full potential, I have found that if you help enough other people get what they want you will get want you want.
