Bradley's Story

Hi my electronic mail delivery is my last name and then first three letters of Brad, like in Hawaii, "bra" then the number 1 and the google type and dotcom. It would be great to hear from anyone from SY HS. Back in 2013 I got to see Mr Popkin at a soccer game at the Bobcat school? Looked amazing! So cool to see him. I wouldnt mind having a time machine to go back to the 70s (or 80s) seems like things were so fun then. I finished half of Jr year and all Sr year at Continuation with Mr Greundyke and finished early. Was setting up to go to Cuesta in San Luis August 79, and I really regretted it then and to this day that I didnt do the graduation with everyone else. Was in SLO in June wasting time with really bad people I thought were my friends. I was sober and healthy when I went there, but they would drink and smoke and for whatever reason, to be cool, I did too. Big mistake. Just because you grew up with certain people? Doesnt make them your friends. I moved to Los Angeles for school and things were far better. Taking a look and dumping bad people was difficult, but once I met new friends who were good people? Everything got better. I got to work out at VAFB and it was the greatest thing, loved working. With good friends? we would ride dirt bikes, water ski, go snow skiing having good people as friends is better than treasure. In the late 80s my parents passed, and the entire estate was stolen from me by a corrupt older brother, who sent his own mother to the grave... So I was homeless and lost pretty much all my "stuff" being into electronics and a packrat? I had 100s of circuit boards, a library worth of books, auto tools my...Expand for more
parents got me worth $15k + which a friend stole, nice friends... and had to stay on friends couches and do side work. Learned about people, again, who's a friend and who isnt. The 90s were not so good, but moved up to the silicon valley area and started over, friend helped, but his girlfriend had enough of me when we'd enjoy video games so she kicked me out but it made me look for a place and I found a room in a house that was a huge step up, more good people, close to my job. That led to a referral to an even better place later. I went back to college, worked full time, got really fit again, would drive to Buellton every week (too much driving) some other bad stuff happened, but got by... lost everything after the dotcom bust and a divorce which was just messed up. Later I worked at UCSB a few years in Geography and that was fun, the amazing thing was in high school that was a class I hated. But Geography is awesome, limitless. Had to move to Kentucky, and work out here for the University, also alot of fun. 5 years now, and miss California, kept trying to visit in the summers but couldnt. Kentucky has difficult weather, humid as a hot greenhouse, can get to -15 and freeze the heater core; People are irritable, smoke, ready to scream profanity and fight over nothing, its a depressing place, but there are nice places. Am available for computer support, Anyone who wants computer help can email me, if I can be of service, great. I do the remote desktop with teamviewer or? and no charge for anyone who knows me. I also do software. Thought I wrote out a similar page but dont find it now... hope all this doesnt go away Best Wishes
