Brandee's Story
Life
My family moved out of the Chicago area shortly after I graduated. We moved North to a small town near the Wisconsin border. There I finished my education at The College of Lake County while working a full and part time job. I graduated with my Associates in Art in May of 1995. Then I attended Northeastern Illinois University for awhile. The long drive to and from school takes a toll on me and my career. After a 3 year engagement I finally got married at Edison Park Lutheran Church in Chicago on May 22, 1999. My husbands name is Dennis and we have a lot of things in common including being a kid at heart. After traveling with my job to our Iowa offices weekly for a couple years I ended up relocating. I currently live in Manchester Iowa in a huge home with lots of acreage that I could have never afforded back in Chicago. On November 22, 2005 we had our first child, her name is Melanee. She is the love of our life...until our next one came. You cannot imagine how you can love another as much as your first but you do. Kyle was born on November 14, 2007. We...Expand for more
are a happy family of 5 (Dennis, the kids, our dear dog Missy and myself) living in peace and quiet in the country.
Workplace
My job started at a telemarketing company in Lake Forest, IL. Imagine me getting paid to talk! I started there in 1996 on the phones as a rep. Over the years I have been promoted to various jobs within the company until I reached my most current position, Director of Client Services. I love what I do! I am responsible for all of the clients that do business with us. My employees write scripts, create reports, invoices, monitor, train, etc. My main focus is talking on the phone to my clients while trying to extract additional business from them as well as keeping an eye on the company budget and yearly goals. I also travel a lot visiting various clients, attending trade shows or visiting our other offices in Iowa. When they relocated me to Iowa it really made my life easy. I miss my friends and family horribly but being 5 minutes from home with NO traffic ever is very relaxing each day. I can't imagine doing anything else at this time.
