Brandon's Story

I joined the Army in 2000, went to Fort Benning for Basic, Fort Bragg for PSYOP Specialist AIT, back to Benning for Airborne School. Through late 2000 and early 2001 I studied Arabic, and deployed to Saudi Arabia in Dec. Jul 02 deployed to Afghanistan. I married my high school sweet heart Cherie Carter on APril 19, 2003. ed the course a Special Forces Communications Sergeant in Nov 2004. In January 05, I was assigned to a team in 3rd Group. Jun 05-Jan 06 deployed to Tal'Afar, Iraq. Oct 06-Feb 07 deployed to Ghazni, Afghanistan. October 07-Feb 08, deployed to Helmand, Afghanistan. Was wounded in an IED strike and sent home early. And now here I am wondering were the last 10 years went...
