Brandon's Story
Life
Hi everyone. I hope this finds you well! It just occured to me how much time has past since high school. But I'm happy to say I wouldn't have really changed a thing (well, maybe two things ;)
So Bio... right... well, I was studying to become a Chiropractor after high school, and then ended up in the software/internet industry when I was about 22 and remained in that industry ever since.
I started a small design company when I was 24 and have developed it into a Media Production Company while consulting with numerous companies over the years.
So what do I do actually? I am a Creative Director, Digital Producer, and Media Designer. I wear a lot of hats but titles are a dime a dozen. What matters is that I love what I do for a living.
Essentially I produce very cutting edge and innovative media for a variety of clients, some large, some small. In addition I still remain as a professional consultant for various companies.
Ok so life outside of work? Well, like many I was on my way to early retirement until the dot.bomb in 2000 - at which point I nearly had to start over again... ...Expand for more
and of course there have been struggles and blessings for sure. Life has been a perpetual lesson to be learned.
As I look back though, it's with happiness and fond memories, tremendous personal and spiritual growth, and understanding, and with that perspective I would say life has been pretty great.
What do I do now adays? When I am not driving my environmentally unfriendly SUV I am on my mountain bike, or going for a walk. I still love to ride and be active, though I find the older I get the more I am sitting - so I am trying to re-adjust that.
I still love to be near the ocean or lakes... that probably wont ever change, though I've really enjoyed travelling to other countries and tropical places. My Seattle born web feet will probably always keep me in the Pacific Northwest... though despite saying I would never move from Seattle; I did move to Portland about 18 months ago... and it's seriously cool! It's much the way Seattle was 14 years ago - with regard to traffic and character. It's been quite a little adventure!
Ok enough about me, lets hear from you!
Take care,
Brandon
