h. I miss home home with a passion, I cannot understand. I miss the snow, the hills, the beautiful grass, my family. Although the sun is always shine hear, and the temp is rarely below 50, I miss the crisp cool air, that smells of snow. So, I replace this with the strong ocean breeze that smells of salt. I make myself go to the beach weekly, so that I can be thankful in its beauty. It allows me time to think and reflect, renew myself, wash away the stress for a new Monday. I never know what a day at work will hold for me, So I have to never expect a good day, or a easy day, I may have 2-4 admissions, One death, two discharges, a deranged family member, missing dentures, two falls , a broken hip. A demented pat. who yells nonstop. Nurses and cna's who complain, Nurses who cry, because they cannot handle the stress. Deadlines, doctors rounding. Some days I have two to three doctors in my office at a time. My mind spins with over whelming information, lab reports, medications, orders. It is a wonder I dont drink.".
