Brenda's Story
I married Gary Travland(a 1968 graduate) in 1972. We had 2 boys.We lived in Wichita Falls,Tx from1980-2007, then in Winston Salem NC. from 2007-2009. We were married for 37 years.He passed away in Aug. 2009 from problems from having lung cancer in 2005 of a heart attack. I am in Tucson Az. now close to my oldest son. We have 6 grandkids plus another in sept 2010.I retired from Wal Mart of 20 years and now am looking for something ...Expand for more
a little slower paced.Gary had been retired for a few years from the National Weather Service. My youngest attended West Point and is an engineer for Westinghouse nucler in Pa. My oldest here is a Korean linguist in the Army and is an instructer in military intelligence at the base and has his ba. degree.I'm so glad they went to college. I done a year in NC. in human resource management. I was in the personnel office at Wal Mart.
