Life
Hello everyone.
I really don't know where to start, so I'll start with what I've been doing since high school. After graduation, I joined the Navy. That was fun! - NOT! I did have some good times and met some wonderful people, though. I was stationed in Italy for three years. I met my husband while I was there, and got married in 1990. We have two wonderful kids that are my greatest joy and am very proud of them both. My daughter has graduated high school and my son is a Sophomore in high school, both are very good students. My daughter is a great artist and loves to play the violin and the piano. My son plays the saxaphone and is getting very good. I digress though, After the tour in Italy, we were stationed in Maryland for another three years, where I ended my Naval career in 1993. with my children and went to college. In 1997, and my Father was diagnosed with cancer -again. We were able to get orders to Point Mugu, California so we could be closer to home. After only a week of being back in Portland, my father passed away in his sleep at home, on October 15th.
We completed the tour in California and went back to the east coast (and my husbands comfort zone) in 2001. We were in Virginia Beach, VA until his retirement in 2003. I also graduated college during this year --woopie. After retirement, we moved to West Virginia, and in 2005 moved south for better jobs. - So that is where I am writing this from. The deep south. I can't complain- except for the heat, I have a good job, my kids are happy, I have a nice home, a nice car and live a very good life. So what about you?
