Brenda's Story
I was born Brenda Lee Chiolero in San Rafael, CA in 1957. I was raised in Chicago, Il. My family moved to Cicero, Il. when I was in the 5th grade. My father was the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Cicero. I graduated grade school at Goodwin in Cicero. I went 2 years to Morton East and then transferred to Oak Forest Christian Academy where I graduated in 1975. I went to Baptist Bible College, Springfield, Mo. for 2 years,that is where I met my husband Donald Wakefield. After he got his B.A. we lived in Sarasota, Fl. and taught in a christian school there. After 6 months we moved back to Cicero, where our 1st son Adam was born. Thirteen months later our 2nd son Joel was born. We both taught in our christian school, Cicero Baptist School. ad was Pastor for 27 years and felt the Lord was moving him to Pastor another church. We then all moved to Santa Fe, NM. We have lived here for the past 15 years.I absolutely love it here. We are members at Temple Baptist Church. My father passed away 3 years ago. He was greatly loved and is dearly missed. Pastor Jim Velazquez is our Pastor. Growing up in Cicero he was my youth Pastor.
My husband worked for the city of Santa Fe in the transportation dept. He died about 5 months ago.I work as a receptionist at a real estate/rental management group. I enjoy my job. I'm close to my family, which includes my mom, sister Bonnie, nieces and nephews. I also have 1 grandson and 1 grand daughter and 2 grand daughters on the way.
I believe that I am too young to be alone. I still have alot of love to give. So, my desire is to find happiness again with a Christian man.
