Life Since I graduated, I attended Texas Tech for a year and a half, then went to work for American Airlines for 3 years. I then became a Mother for the first time and had to quit as there was no pregnacy clause with the airline. I went to work for Wells Fargo Bank in 1972, then went to work for Home Saving of America in 1976. I started as a teller and then became a conversion specialist, going to banks that my bank took over, training the staffs, converting data such as loans and bank accounts to Home Savings files, and working with the staffs for the first few weeks they were open as Home Saving. I then became a Manager and worked at the Richmond, Ca. office and for 10 years at the Napa Valley, Ca. branch. In 1996 Home Savings merged with Washington Mutual Bank and I became their employee. My husband worked for civil service in Sacramento, Ca. at McClellan AFB, which was closed in 2000. So since one of our children lived in Roy, Utah, we decided to transfer to Hill AFB, in Layton, Utah. I was able to transfer with Washington Mutual Bank to become an Auditor for the Regional Supervisor in Salt Lake City. I did that until I retired in 2004. By 2005, all of our four children and their families had moved to Utah as well as my parents. So now the whole family lives within 8 miles of us and we enjoy them all. We now have 10 grandchildren.
