Brenda's Story
Life
After high school I went to Purdue and graduated with a degree in Apparel Technology. At Purdue I met my future husband Bob. We were married in 1980 and in 1981 we decided to start our family, which happened much quicker than anticipated. We had twin boys and named them Benjamin and Timothy when we lived in Memphis and were transferred to Texas when they were still in the hospital. They are now 27 and both college graduates. Ben married in 2006 and my sister Karen performed the ceremony. She is now a Methodist minister in Conneticut--who could have seen that coming??? Tim married in June of 2009--that is Tim in my profile photo.

er, a preschool teacher trainer, a Vice President of a College Planning company and then a QC Manager for a company that manufactures bedding and window treatments for hotels and medical facilities. Now I'm back in a college planning company as the Executive Director of Student Services. Bob was in commercial construction sales. He passed away in July from heart failure--so unfair! At least he was able to be at the wedding.
My Dad remarried in 1986 after my mother died and they moved to Miami. After he retired they moved to Rockledge, FL. Bob's mom moved to Vero Beach after Bob's dad passed in 2000.
I belong to a philanthropic sorority called Delta Theta Tau. My chapter is small but strong. The last three years we won a national award for the amount of money we raised for charities.
