Brenda's Story
I married David P. Landwehr in 1980. We have three children John (deceased), David Lee born in 1981, Mark Joseph born in 1983.
David Lee has a daughter Isabel and son Lawrence John.
Mark has three sons Jayden, Gabriel, Maddox and daughter Melody.
Everyone is in Wichita and it is great to have time to spend with the grandchildren. They have been so much fun.
David and I own LT Care Solutions. We specialize in Medicare supps, Medicare advantage plans, long term care insurance and veteran disability benefit. We enjoy working with seniors and their family.
I was elected to the Kansas House of Representatives in 1994. It has been a wonderful opportunity and I enjoy being able to help people. I left the legislature in 2012.
David and I have enjoyed spending our winters traveling in our fifth wheel. We really enjoyed Tuson and plan to go back in the future. It was a lot of fun visiting civil war sites this last year. We look forward to more trips. David is able to work on the road so it is a great way for him to still relax.

When we are not at the lake house we are blessed to enjoy our home at Emerald Bay Estates in Wichita. It gives us another great place to enjoy time with family and friends. We have two adopted dogs. Zoey is part Italian greyhound and Chihuahua then Mitzi is a standard Yorki. They enjoy traveling in the car and having a lot of space to run at the Oklahoma house.
I was called earlier this year and asked if I would consider running for the legislature again. After a lot of conversation and prayers I decided to do it. At least this time David can spend time with me in Topeka. So it is a busy fall and it will be a busy winter. I will get to be a freshman again. Hopefully I will be able to help make a difference and get folks to working together more.
It has been rewarding to work on mental health issues in Kansas. We must make sure services are available to people of all ages.0
David and I are blessed to have each other and time flies. We have been married 40 years June 2021 There is always room for regrets but you cannot change the past. You can only deal with today and tomorrow when it comes.
