Life My life is simple as stated in a short bio below: She has a special interest in the welfare of teenage youth, being that God has brought her from a mighty long way. She is the founder/Pastor of St. Stephen Community Church (AME Mission)…with the vision & theme being “Restoring Broken Vessels.” She has taught the congregation that, “If God said it, I believe it, and that’s it!” The ministry REV. BRENDA “bj” JONES consist of being ordained a Itenerant Deacon 9/2000', and Itinerant Elder in 9/2002. Born and raised in Wayman AME Church, Rev bj or Pastor b as she is affectionly known, was first called by God at the tender age of 11 years old. God reassured her of this calling in 1995 under the leadership of Rev. L. Fisher Hines. She has said too many that God told her to come from behind the walls of the church and began a ministry in General Motors Wentzville Assembly Plant.
