Brenda's Story
Life
I live in Charleston with my husband, Doug, and three daughters, Jennifer, Jessica and Joanne. Jennifer is a now a junior at College of Charleston. Jessica is attending Trident and working part time. Joanne is a junior at First Baptist of Charleston. I still work at the Naval Hospital and Doug works at SPAWAR.
When I am not working, my time is dedicated to the church and my family. Our family loves special family times and getting together whenever possible. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family and so many wonderful friends!

. I loved playing basketball and have a lot of good memories. Those days were truly good times, even though we did not really think so back then.
Workplace
I am a Health Systems Specialist at the Naval Hospital. I had worked in Information Systems for many years and had the opportunity to change career paths in 1997. I work with TRICARE and the military healthcare system. I am the liaison between the government and the healthcare contractor. I really enjoy what I do, but it just never gets done. There are new issues/problems to resolve every day. I definitely never have a dull moment.
