Brenda's Story

I grew up living (primarily) on Joseph Drive in Tonawanda, New York. I am an ex-Catholic school girl. I attended St. Andrews School on Sheridan Drive for elementary, and then after that went the public school route, including Sweet Home Junior and Senior, Kenmore West and then on to Univ of Buff and RIT.
I mark the passage of time by the current state of my beloved nieces...
My extremely close relationships with my sisters and their daughters (my nieces Erin, Shannon and Kate) are the constant source of joy in my life. They are the loves of my life. It is okay, my husband knows this and understands. LOL My younger sister, Ilene, remains as my life-long best friend.

in Rochester, New York. I retired from the workforce when I turned 40, after burning out from too many years in corporate America. My father passed away in February 2014, so my Mom is nearby me in Clearwater,Fl. She has vascular dementia and is in Memory Care. I still love spending time with her.
I believe in living life according to these basic tenets: "Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you", to always remember that "There for the grace of God go I" and finally, that "It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice".
Living life with leaving a legacy of helping others in mind. Do good whenever and wherever you can.
When you know better, you do better.
