Brenda's Story

I was a nerd in school and have remained so; and not the real brainy kind either. My only claim to fame at MHS was standing up to the Business Ed teachers when they tried to intimidate my classmates. 1966 it was still OK to be a government worker. The job in D.C. led me to my future husband, a Marine returning from VietNam. We married and moved to his home state of Texas, and we're still here. The pride of our lives is our daughter and granddaughter. I work as a program manager for a local not-for-profit and hope to retire someday!
